One-Time Flea & Tick Control Services

If you have noticed that fleas or ticks have invaded your outdoor space, a one-time treatment might be enough to treat the problem. Our team is available for one-time flea and tick control services. This service also includes one optional follow-up within 90 days of your initial service. This follow-up appointment can treat fleas and ticks again, or we can treat other basic crawling insects such as ants, spiders, cockroaches, or crickets. Typically, our treatments last for around 60 days, so a follow-up appointment is a good idea, as it can extend the coverage on your property for up to a full four months.

Ongoing Flea & Tick Control Services

If you prefer routine protection from fleas and ticks, we are pleased to offer ongoing flea and tick treatment services. This agreement lasts for one year and will cover your outdoor space with fast, effective treatments to get rid of fleas and ticks quickly.

Our Flea & Tick Treatments

Our treatments are designed to eradicate fleas and ticks and stay gone for the long term. It is important to treat these pests quickly because of the danger of the diseases they can spread.

For example, tick-borne diseases include:

  • Lyme disease
  • Ehrlichiosis
  • Babesiosis
  • Rocky Mountain spotted fever
  • Anaplasmosis
  • Tick-borne relapsing fever
  • Tularemia

Our flea and tick solutions will ensure that these pests stay away and keep you safe from these dangerous diseases. We use a combination of chemicals both inside and outside of your property. We treat the areas that fleas like to invade, such as fabric furniture, rugs, and carpets. Outside, we treat any areas where adults might lay eggs. This may require multiple treatments to get the population under control, as these insects can develop a resistance to certain chemicals.

We can’t fully treat fleas and ticks without your help! Your pet is a key food supply for these creatures, so it is important that you take your pet to the vet to find a solution for any fleas or ticks currently on your pet. You will also need to vacuum and wash your pet’s bedding in hot water.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your chemicals safe for kids and pets?

While nothing is completely “safe,” our treatments use mostly low-impact, low-volume chemicals that are effective at very low dosages. People and pets should stay out of the treatment area while it’s wet and can return once it has dried. All our chemicals fall within the Caution levels of toxicity (most in Caution 2, extremely low toxicity) and have been tested for safe re-entry. We can provide detailed chemical documents for review, which you can discuss with your healthcare provider if desired.

How long will it take to see results after the first treatment?

Results depend on the pest. For fleas inside your home, you may notice some initial improvement within a few days, with full results in 2–3 weeks as the fleas gradually disappear.

Why would over-the-counter products interfere with your treatment?

Over-the-counter pesticides are often cheap repellent chemicals, while our treatments use more effective, non-repellent chemicals designed to eliminate pests. If fleas or ticks detect the repellent chemicals from OTC products, they may avoid the areas where our treatment is applied, reducing its effectiveness. Since these chemicals are invisible once applied, it’s hard to know where they remain. Using OTC products can interfere with our goal of controlling the flea or tick population. If you want to use supplemental treatments, our senior technician can advise on how to do so without affecting your service.
